Safeguarding Policies in England / Scotland |
In England/Wales the Religious Sisters of Charity have signed up to a 'One Church' approach to safeguarding and are guided by the national policies and procedures laid down by the Church through the National Catholic Safeguarding Commission (NCSC) and the Catholic Safeguarding Advisory Service (CSAS). The Safeguarding policies and procedures can be found in full HERE and will also be available as a Safeguarding Resource Pack due to be ready for distribution in September 2011.
In Scotland, as a Congregation, we stand there as 'One Church' too, under the National Office for the Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults (NOPCVA), a Commission of the Bishops' Conference of Scotland. Click HERE for more details.
